Forward Progress Adds Three Industry Leaders to Their Team

Forward Progress Athletics Consulting has bolstered its consulting staff with the addition of Lindsey Hicks, Jennifer Jacobs, and Will Baggett.

Forward Progress president John Shukie remarks: “I am so excited to welcome Lindsey, Jennifer and Will to the Forward Progress team. Each of them brings a unique and diverse skill set that will help us best serve our clients.”

Shukie went on to describe their unique contributions, “Lindsey has tremendous hands-on campus experience, and will be an instrumental part of the Academic services we provide our clients. Jennifer’s expertise in intercultural communication, as well as her experiencee as a college head coach, is an amazing combination. Forward Progress’ Leadership clients will benefit greatly from the perspective she brings. Finally, adding Will to the FP team strengthens us immensely. An innovative, entrepreneurial young leader, he is someone that both student-athletes and administrators alike will learn from.”

In March 2017, Jacobs was named the ninth Head Volleyball coach at Augustana University, SD. Previously an assistant athletic director for Augsburg College, she ran SAAC and oversaw day-to-day operations.  Jacobs is certified in the Intercultural Development Inventory ® which assesses intercultural competence. She is a premier speaker on diversity and inclusion, presenting at events such as the NCAA Inclusion Forum, the University of Minnesota Tucker Center Coaches Symposium and the American Volleyball Coaches Association Convention.

Hicks brings years of expertise from the campus level serving in compliance and student-athlete services at the University of Central Florida, Northern Illinois University and the University of Texas.  Hicks has managed APR & APP data while balancing Life Skills and SAAC programming, making her a perfect fit for Forward Progress.

Baggett works at the College Football Playoff after serving as Strategic Brand Management Coordinator with IMG College Licensing. Will is the author of the book, The Blueprint for a Successful Career and founder of Executive Image–a professional presence training program for young professionals.
